Having experienced a challenging time with both her emotional & physical health several years ago, Leanne sought out yoga as a way to help manage her symptoms. She found yoga to be a guiding light through these struggles. Yoga has since become an integral part of her life.
In 2020, Leanne decided to deepen her knowledge of yoga & completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training program, and is currently working toward her 300-hour certification.
Leanne believes yoga is for everybody & every body.
A passionate yogi, she seeks to ignite a spark for yoga in others, encouraging students to find a yogic path that honors their needs. Leanne wholeheartedly feels yoga is healing in a myriad of ways, the ultimate act of love & connection-for ourselves & for others. Her style of teaching invites students to come as they are, to be gentle with themselves, to slow down & connect to the moment, to explore & reflect, to be playful & open. Leanne’s classes explore developing alignment, strength & flexibility of our bodies but also with our minds & spirits.
Leanne lives quietly in the country surrounded by nature, with her husband Harvey & their beloved & spoiled fur kids, Señor Olive, Josie & Ruby. She is a scratch baker, loves feeding people, would be lost in life without movies, music or books. Besides yoga, Leanne’s favorite way to relax is drinking an Earl Grey tea & she is always open to having a cup of tea with you.
